Membership

ELIGIBILITY FOR MEMBERSHIP

The following criteria for membership is taken from ARA's ByLaws:

• GENERAL shall be a Radio Operator possessing an FCC amateur radio station license.
• ASSOCIATE may be granted to a person who does not hold a license and is supportive of amateur radio.

DUES AND FEES

ARA is a non-profit organization. Dues and fees are held to a level to pay necessary expenses. Effective July 1, 2020 annual dues are $ 20 for GENERAL members.

The annual dues for the first year are prorated by month.

There is a $ 10 Initiation Fee for new members.
