Because of Covid-19, the ARA has had limited meetings. The Board Meetings are
being held electronically. General Meetings will be held electronically until
further notice. Once things are safe again, we will resume our face-to-face meetings.
Until further notice, the monthly Board Meeting will start at 7:30 PM.
ARA provides Radio Repeaters for Amateur Radio Operators
Radio Repeaters are generally located in high-profile sites to provide for
maximum range to VHF and UHF radios. Repeaters have receiver and transmitters
interconnected to listen on one frequency and transmit on a different, related
frequency. Use of the repeater extends the range of hand-held or mobile radios.
Many of the ARA Repeaters are interconnected to other ARA sites via link radios.
